I’m an Arkansas girl who has ended up in Seattle, WA. I like to think that I’m a bit unique with a wide range of interests. I love trying new things & learning. And I love to laugh. I’ve found that laughing is definitely the best way to deal with life.
I have a BS in Horticulture. I’ve done landscaping & had a flower business. Then I made a career change into the tech industry. I am a self taught SQL developer and just spent the 10 years working with data, databases & customers who wanted that data. My third career switch I decided to try out Real Estate. So far it’s an abosulute blast. And it is my favorite so far!
So why real estate? There’s a couple of reasons.
First, one of my favorite past times was going to open houses & checking out real estate for fun. We have been remodeling our home for the last 3 1/2 years, and I love looking to see what other’s have done with thier home updates. It’s also just in my blood. My dad has a remodeling business, my brother is in real estate and it’s just an area I love. Even on vacation I go check out open houses.
Second, I it is a lot more rewarding than the tech industry was for me. Making a bigger difference in people’s lives…where they live is a big deal. I love helping people & having happy customers. Definitely gives me a sense of worth to be able to help someone else.
Anyways…I want to use this blog to share with you what I learn and I’d love to get feedback from you.
